The Prairie City Ultra 4 Stampede was full of carnage, and we were no exception. With a slippery track we took a nasty spill on turn 1 of the Last Chance Qualifier race (LCQ). Many cars were victim to turn 1 with spin-outs and rolls. This being our first experience with the short course, we learned a couple valuable lessons: let up around the turns when the track is freshly watered and make sure you have beadlock rings that can handle the higher tire pressures. One hard hit blew our rear beadlock ring clean off the car, putting us at the end of the pack and having to do the LCQ race. The LCQ lap is where we ended with our rollover.
