King of The Hammers 2023 Desert Loop 1 on ORI Struts

Since we broke a CV in qualifying we started in the back on race day, had to pick our way through the dust and battle a few cars. It was incredibly fun! We are lucky to do this for a living. After remote pit 1 we had an electrical issue that we fixed on the trail and got back going. That setback put us in the JackHammer trail traffic jam and cost us lap 3. But we still finished 2 of the three laps. We are happy with all our preparation and all the help we got from @EPIC4X4Quest who helped us communicate with repeater stations through the race course. and fixing things between qualifying and the race. Also special thanks to @ORIStruts for the car, @optimabatteries for powering us, @MaxxisTiresUSA for the pit help and tire changes. We didn't have any flats for those 2 laps! @RuggedRadios for the equipment, @letzrolloffroad7448 and @LetzRollOffroad for rebuilding our rear 3rd member, and suppling a tank of a car! (I need to square away with you guys today now that we are back home). @Ultra4RacingAction for putting on a great event! We will be back.
