ORI's STX Strut is a popular and versatile offroad strut/shock combination for rock crawlers, trucks, buggies, desert racers, and other custom off-road builds. The STX struts feature unique dual nitrogen charged chambers for unmatched stability in off-road suspension, and are fully tunable to obtain any level of stability, ride height, and spring rate desired. The STX is designed with high grade billet 6061 aluminum, stainless steel internal components, and chrome plated piston shafts to be light weight, durable, and compact. Built into the compression damping is a 1 inch hydraulic bump stop, high flow oil return passageways, and a velocity sensitive compression valve that helps prevent bottoming out on hard hits to make for a 3 stage compression damping stroke. With a compact 3.2" body, 2" piston, and a 1.75" diameter piston shaft, the struts are compact enough to fit under most builds, and strong enough to hold up in harshest conditions. They come in a variety of standard lengths (8"- 20"), and can be custom ordered up to 30" travel length.

These are a cheap and easy to install addition to the STX Strut. They offer a softer spring rate to help with heavier applications, often used to soften road characteristics.These also help the wheels stuff easier, and make the ride less harsh all around.
Built for heavy vehicles, competition rigs, desert racers, rocks bouncers and other extreme builds, the integral reservoirs give the struts a 24 position knob on the reservoir for compression tuning, additional 4 stage progressive compression valving in the reservoir, and features deep cooling fins on both the strut body and the reservoir for greatly improved heat dissipation. The Integral reservoirs also give the struts a greatly increased oil and nitrogen volume that softens the spring rate and gives the struts more compression oil to allow hydraulic compression damping through the entire stroke, effectively slowing the compression damping after full extension. This model is available assembled or in a kit version from the factory. Options with 3/4" hydraulic hose and fittings are also available in the remote reservoir version.
The integral kit can be purchased and added to an existing base model STX strut.
